Book a consultation through our contact page. We will discuss your needs, then send a written proposal with the scope, documents required and fees.

Do you work with clients outside the UAE?

Yes. Many of our clients are planning a move or expansion to the UAE. Much of the preparation can be done remotely before you arrive.

How do you charge?

Ongoing services such as bookkeeping and payroll are typically priced monthly based on volume. Projects such as company formation or Golden Visa applications are quoted upfront. Government fees are always shown separately.

Business setup

What is the difference between mainland and free zone?

A mainland company is licensed by the emirate's economic department and can trade anywhere in the UAE. A free zone company is licensed by a free zone authority and is usually set up for specific activities, with some restrictions on trading directly with the local market.

What documents do I need to set up a company?

Typically passport copies and photos of shareholders and managers, proof of address and, for corporate shareholders, the parent company's documents. Some activities need additional approvals. We give you an exact checklist.

Can I change my activities later?

Yes, licences can be amended to add or remove activities, subject to the rules of your licensing authority.

Tax & accounting

What is the UAE Corporate Tax rate?

Taxable income up to AED 375,000 is taxed at 0%, and income above that at 9%. Different rules apply to Qualifying Free Zone Persons and certain large multinational groups.

What is the VAT registration threshold?

Registration is mandatory when taxable supplies exceed AED 375,000 over the previous 12 months or are expected to in the next 30 days. Voluntary registration is available from AED 187,500.

How long do I need to keep my records?

Accounting and tax records should generally be kept for at least seven years after the end of the relevant tax period.

Golden Visa & residency

Who can apply for a Golden Visa?

Eligible groups include property and public investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, people with exceptional talents and outstanding students and graduates. Each category has its own criteria.

Is the Golden Visa renewable?

Yes, it can be renewed as long as you continue to meet the conditions of your category.

Can my company sponsor my residence visa instead?

Yes. Shareholders can usually obtain an investor or partner visa through their company. We will compare this with the Golden Visa for your situation.
