Tax questions
When is the Corporate Tax return due?
The return and any tax payable are due within nine months of the end of your tax period. For a calendar-year company, that means by 30 September of the following year.
Do free zone companies pay Corporate Tax?
Free zone companies must register. Those that meet the Qualifying Free Zone Person conditions can apply 0% to qualifying income, while other income is taxed at the standard rates. We assess whether your company qualifies.
What happens if I register or file late?
The FTA applies administrative penalties for late registration, late filing and late payment. If you are behind, we can help bring you up to date and, where appropriate, apply for a penalty waiver.
